Yes! This is really happening. Probably the most powerful combination of sensory experiences that will transport you to a completely different realm.
Join us for a reverent practice on Treaty 4 Territory in the Qu'appelle Valley on July 16th. This is my fifth summer teaching yoga in this very special place and every year we've honoured the full moon rising over the valley by sharing practice on Katepwa Point together.
As we practice in the rich golden hour sun, with the warm breeze, the sound of distant boats and gentle waves lapping the shore we will find ourselves wrapped in the rich, immersive sensory experience that brings the Katepwa Beach Yogis back to practice with me year after year. This, alone, is a truly memorable way to celebrate our bodies, our breath and the earth on which we are so fortunate to practice upon. But, this year we're taking things even deeper, creating an even more powerful opportunity for you to experience the bliss that is possible on your yoga mat!
Cellist, Dominic Choe, will be accompanying our class with his rich, hauntingly beautiful live music that will weave in and through the ether to allow you to expand into the infinite space of union being created as you flow through your postures on the mat. The rising and falling pulsations of the deep resonance of the cello will echo the undulations of your breath allowing you to feel a deeper sense of presence and gratitude throughout the practice.
In short - this is going to be epic and you don't want to miss it.
Save your spot on the beach for this powerful, mind altering experience that will set the yoga on the beach bar higher than we've ever set it before! (and we've had some pretty powerful beach classes in the past... )
Stay after class to enjoy the full moon rising over the valley then head to the local pub for some good food and connection before heading back home or to your cabin. A perfect evening to share with the humans you love most. Everyone is welcome, the practice is suitable for all who are interested in joining us.
