Join us for our second pop up yoga class of the summer on June 27th at Local Market. Yoga, Live Cello, local vendors, food + so much more!
Come down and shop, grab a meal, and stay for an all levels flow class taught by Robin Hilton accompanied by Cellist, Dominic Choe. These classes are captivating, unique and accessible. Our intention is to create immersive sensory experiences that are memorable and transformative - this is not your typical yoga class!
Robin is invested in bringing a unique offering to the YQR yoga community through collaborative efforts like this one.
Robin has been teaching yoga for almost 10 years in and around the Queen City and owns her own studio in Indian Head. Her gentle, grounding guidance asks students to connect more deeply with their body, their emotions, and their breath bringing them into a state of conscious presence and deep relaxation.
Dominic has been playing Cello since he was 11 and believes that the music that flows from his instrument is the sound of his soul. When Dominic plays the Cello, he feels the melody and resonance that comes from the instrument in the same way he feels the pulsation and flow of his breath.
Queen City Yoga + Local Market have partnered up for monthly yoga classes intended to bring people into the Warehouse District to shop, connect, and collaborate! Meet new friends and experience yoga in this gorgeous YQR landmark.
The old Weston Bakery was constructed in 1929 and was operating as a bakery until 2012. It's been recently renovated to house several local businesses, The Local Market grocery store and 2 beautiful event spaces.
A portion of every ticket sold for this event will be donated to the Build Love Project, and annual home renovation project which improves the quality of life for a family who lives with non-typical challenges in Regina, Sk.
