What to do if you’ve neglected your email list.
When was the last time you sent an email to your email list?
Life happens - and sometimes the consequence is not sending out regular emails to your list. I've been there - as have many entrepreneurs!
Truth is - we can't do it all, perfectly, all the time.
So, what should you do when you neglect your email list for a little longer than you wanted to?
The best thing to do is send an email, no need to explain your absence - just let your subscribers know what’s up right now!
Hop back in with an email that feels engaging and fun. Imagine you’re reconnecting with that one friend of yours who you see every couple of years but it’s like no time has passed since the last time you were together.
You could start with sharing a story about what you’ve been up to, what you’re working on and if it feels right, share a tip or tool that’s been helping you out lately.
Here are some things that help me stick to sending out regular newsletters:
Making a schedule that feels do-able and marking the time to write and send the email in my calendar.
Planning my content ahead of time & having a list of potential email subjects that I could write about.
Sharing content that performed well on social media with your email list.
